2001 1 Oz Washington Mint Bush Gore Round PF

The Washington Mint produces many pieces designed for the novice collector. These include larger size bills and larger replica rounds made of silver. Many of these items are minted in standard Oz weights instead of Troy ounces. On occasion, they have produced 1 Oz Troy rounds. This round features the presidential candidates George Bush and Al Gore. It was limited to a mintage of 100,000 and the finish is proof-like.

Obverse: The obverse features the right-facing image of George W. Bush. His name is inscribed at the top with the date "2001" to the left. The lower inscription reads "43rd PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA".

Reverse: The reverse features the left-facing image of Albert Gore. His name is inscribed at the top with the date "2001" to the left. The lower inscription reads "43rd PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA".
