1990 1 Oz Decatur General Hospital 75th Anniversary Round PF

Minted in 1990 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Decatur General Hospital, located in Decatur, Alabama. The mint and exact mintage are unknown, but the round is rare.

Obverse: The obverse illustrates a picture of the hospital circa 1990. The name "DECATUR GENERAL" arches across the top and the dates "1915-1990" are found at the bottom. 

Reverse: The central feature on the reverse is the logo for the hospital. The phrase "SEVENTYFIVE YEARS OF CARING" is inscribed at the top. The weight and composition of "ONE OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER" is inscribed at the bottom.
