BEX Engraving

Located in Fullerton, CA, BEX Engraving is a full-service mint that has been operating since 1973. While they initially focused on coin die engraving, by the 1980s, they had expanded to provide custom minting and coining, becoming an industry leader in creating and supplying coin dies for the Casino Tokens industry and coin mints throughout the United States. They provide a full range of services, including graphic design, machining and engraving of steel dies, injection mold engraving, and radius and 3D stamping dies.

BEX creates custom coins and rounds with several precious and base metals, including copper, bronze, nickel, pewter, silver, and gold. They produce .999 Fine Silver products in rounds, bars, and specialty pours. Many of their silver rounds are 1 Oz, but on occasion, they also mint fractional pieces and larger 2 Oz rounds. Some of the most well-known BEX products are the 1/2 Oz AA sobriety coins with the years of sobriety inscribed within a triangle. Other branded 1 Oz rounds include their take on the Buffalo and Aztec Calendar rounds. Most rounds do not have the mint's name inscribed and are unmarked, making attribution difficult.
