Laos Tiger
One of the newer offerings in the government bullion sphere is the Laos Tiger series that began in 2020. Although not much is currently known about the mint that produces these coins, the coins appear to have been developed by MDM World Coin Association (MDM Muenzhandelsgesellschaft mbH) under the authority of the Laotian government. The coins are minted with 1 Oz .999 Fine Silver and are available in several finishes. In addition to the BU finish, coins were produced with gilding and two varieties of ruthenium-gilding finishes. They bear a denomination of 500 KIP and are legal tender in Laos. Mintages for the early years are 10,000 coins.

Obverse: The coin's obverse depicts the National Bank of Laos. The inscription "BANK OF THE LAO PDR" arches over the top while the "500 KIP" denomination is inscribed at the bottom. The weight of "1 OZ" is located on the left and the purity and composition of "AG 999" is inscribed on the right.
Reverse: The coin's reverse features the Laotian tiger (Panthera Tigris) interacting with its native habitat. The images change each year. The name of the species "PANTHERA TIGRIS" is inscribed along the rim to the left. The rim on the right contains the weight and compositions of "1 OZ FINE SILVER .999" and the year of issue.
