Description
Third year of the bullion series.
Obverse: The coin's obverse depicts the National Bank of Laos. The inscription "BANK OF THE LAO PDR" arches over the top while the "500 KIP" denomination is inscribed at the bottom. The weight of "1 OZ" is located on the left and the purity and composition of "AG 999" is inscribed on the right.
Reverse: The reverse features a profile of a tiger looking over its shoulder as it walks into the forest. The tiger has its mouth open showing its teeth as a warning sign of its presence. Foliage surrounds the tiger. The name of the species "PANTHERA TIGRIS" is inscribed along the rim to the left. The rim on the right contains the weight and compositions of "1 OZ FINE SILVER .999" and the year "2022".
