Obverse seen on several rounds from the 1980's including a reverse with a trade unit.
Obverse: The central feature of the obverse is a closeup of the head of the Statue of Liberty. The outer circle bears the dates "1886-1986" at the top and "LIBERTY CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION" at the bottom. Two stars on either side separate the upper and lower inscriptions.
Reverse: The bird on the reverse side of the coin is an American eagle with outstretched wings. In one talon it holds an olive branch, in the other talon it holds arrows, symbolizing that the United States is a peaceful nation but will defend itself if necessary. The eagle is surrounded by a wreath. The weight of "ONE TROY OZ" and the composition of "999 FINE SILVER" are inscribed above the eagle. Twenty-four stars decorate the outer rim.
