1986 1 Oz Voyager Flight Around the World Round PF

This round commemorates the flight of the Voyager, a 9-day non-stop circumnavigation of the globe. The pilots were Jeanna Yeager and Dick Rutan. The mint and mintage are unknown. Uncommon round!

Obverse: The obverse features the portraits of Jeanna Yeager and Dick Rutan, the pilots. Their signatures are inscribed near each of their portraits. 

Reverse: The central feature on the reverse is a picture of the voyager plane with the Earth in the background. The text at the top reads "FLIGHT OF THE VOYAGER DEC 14 TO 23 1986 9 DAYS - 0 HOURS - 3 MIN - 44 SEC". The weight, content, and purity of "ONE TROY OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER" is inscribed at the lower left.
