Description
Created in 2014 to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Georgia Numismatics Association. The mint and mintage are unknown.
Obverse: The obverse features a replica of the Georgia State quarter. It depicts a peach, branches of a live oak tree, and the state motto "WISDOM, JUSTICE, MODERATION" in a banner over an outline of the state. The inscription at the top reads "GEORGIA 1788". At the bottom is the date "1999" along with the motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM".
Reverse: The reverse has a standard engravable back with a floral design encircling the blank inner portion of the round. The engraved inscription reads "GNA 50TH ANNIVERSARY 2014". The weight, purity, and content of "ONE TROY OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER" is located at the top.
