The Dublin Goldsmiths' Assay Office in Ireland is the official assay office for the country. During 2015 and 2016, they minted advertising rounds. The obverse for both years is a shamrock, the national flower of Ireland. The reverse of the 2015 round depicts the company's crest, while the 2016 round bears its logo. Rumors suggest that the original mintage was intended to be 50,000 rounds but was reduced due to production issues. Mintage estimates for the 2015 round are 20,000. The 2016 round is rarer, with an estimated mintage of 12,400.
Obverse: The reverse features the logo of the Dublin Goldsmith's company, the official assay office of Ireland. The logo depicts a trillium inside a square. The date "1916" is located at the top, with "2016" found below. The upper inscription in Gaelic reads "OFFIG MEASUNACHTA NA HEIREANN". An inscription at the bottom states "COMPANY OF GOLDSMITHS OF DUBLIN".
Reverse: The reverse depicts the leaf of a shamrock, the national flower of Ireland. The upper inscription states "ISSUED BY THE ASSAY OFFICE OF IRELAND" while the lower one denotes the weight and composition of "ONE OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER".
