1985 1 Oz Peace Replica Round BU

Obverse: The obverse is a replica of the Peace dollar. It depicts Miss Liberty, facing left, wearing a diadem of spikes similar style to that seen on the Statue of Liberty. Above the effigy is the word "LIBERTY" and the date of "1985" is located below. Four stars on either side separate the upper inscription from the date.

Reverse: The central feature of the reverse is the common motif of trade unit scales. The upper inscription reads "ONE TROY OUNCE / 31.1 GRAMS" while the lower inscription denotes the round as a "SILVER TRADE UNIT". The inscription beneath the scales bears the content and purity of ".999 FINE SILVER". Sheaves of wheat decorate the area to the left and right of the scales.
