1983 1 Oz American Centennial Celebration Round BU

Obverse: The central image on the obverse is an American Bison standing in a field.  The upper inscription reads "AMERICAN CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION". The lower inscription contains the dates "1883-1983".

Reverse: The central feature of the reverse is the common motif of trade unit scales. The upper inscription reads "THE INTERNATIONAL" and is completed by the lower inscription of "TRADE UNIT". The lower inscription is flanked by stalks of wheat. The weight of "ONE TROY OUNCE" is located beneath the upper inscription while the composition of ".999 FINE SILVER" arches underneath the scales.
