2010 1 Oz Gold Resource Corporation Round BU

Gold Resource Corporation is a mining company that has been in operation since 1998. In 2010, they began producing gold, silver, copper, and lead at their mine in Oaxaca, Mexico. Around 2012, the company started offering investors the option to receive their dividends in individual bullion accounts that could be withdrawn as physical gold and silver rounds. This option was in effect until at least 2019.  Bullion accounts converting their dividends to physical received these rounds, known as "Double Eagles". For the gold coins, a $30 minting fee per round was charged. Minting fees are unknown for silver rounds. The mint and mintage are unknown, but the rounds are scarce.

Obverse: The obverse features an eagle carrying a shovel and a pickaxe. A mountain range rises in the distance. The name "GOLD RESOURCE CORPORATION" arches across the top, while the date of "2010" is found below.  A lower inscription specifying the weight and composition reads "1 OZ .999 FINE SILVER". 

Reverse: The reverse also features an eagle in a design often found on Mexican coinage. The eagle carries a snake in its beak. The name "OAXACA MEXICO" arches across the top, while the date of "2010" is found below. A lower inscription specifying the weight and composition in Spanish reads "1 ONZA .999 PLATA PURA".
