1999 1 Oz SilverTowne Tennessee Capitol Round BU

In 1999, a pair of rounds was minted to commemorate the new millennium and some of Tennessee's milestones. The common reverse bore the name "TENNESSEE" along with the date "2000". One round depicted the Tennessee Capitol building while the other celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Oak Ridge National Laboratories. No mint mark is present on either piece. However, the Oak Ridge round was also minted with a Liberty Eagle obverse made by SilverTowne, indicating that these two rounds were minted by SilverTowne as well. The mintages are unknown, but the rounds are rare. 

Obverse: The central feature on the obverse is an image of the Tennessee Capitol building. Three large stars occupy the foreground around the edges. An upper inscription reads "STATE OF TENNESSEE 2000" while an inscription to the left states "GOVERNOR DON SUNDQUIST".

Reverse: The reverse contains the name "TENNESSEE" along with the date "2000". Three large stars occupy the foreground around the edges with an upper inscription stating "THE VOLUNTEER STATE". The weight, content, and purity of "1 OZ .999 FINE SILVER" is located along the rim at the lower right. The copyright phrase "©TKW 1999" can be found along the rim at the left.
