1 Oz SilverTowne John Deere 7800 Round BU

Although unmarked, this round was minted by SilverTowne. John Deere commissioned a variety of rounds depicting many of its tractors and accessories. The reverse on some of the first rounds was the standard SilverTowne engravable back. Later issues featured the John Deere logo on the reverse. The rounds appear to have been issued in sets of 5. The fourth series depicting many of the attachments was minted in 1997. Silvertowne also enameled and colorized some of the rounds. Rounds in this series are uncommon.

Obverse: The obverse design features a John Deere 7800 tractor initially released in 1994. The company's name is inscribed at the top and the model number "7800" is located beneath the central image. 

Reverse: The reverse depicts the John Deere logo. It is composed of a leaping deer inside a square. Beneath the image is the text "JOHN DEERE / LICENSED PRODUCT". The weight, purity, and content of "ONE TROY OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER" can be found inscribed at the bottom.
