1 Oz SilverTowne Stamp and Coin Eagle Round BU

Stamp and Coin is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and has been in operation since 1969.  They sell stamps, coins, and collectibles, and currently operate two stores in the Atlanta metro area. The website, www.stampandcoin.com, was created in 1996. The round contains the link to the website, which provides a clue to its age. The mintage is unknown, but the round is rare. 

Obverse: The central image on the obverse is the logo for the company. The company name "STAMP & COIN" is surrounded by the edge of a coin on the upper left and the perforation of a stamp on the lower right. Their website "WWW.STAMPANDCOIN.COM" arches across the top. The weight and composition of "ONE TROY OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER" is inscribed at the bottom. 

Reverse: The central image on the reverse is the SilverTowne eagle sitting on a branch. The upper inscription denotes the weight, purity, and content of "ONE OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER". Although no mint mark is present, this reverse is used exclusively by SilverTowne throughout the 1980s and 1990s.
