1991 1 Oz Nothing Left to Luck Clover Round BU

Little is known concerning the reason for the creation of this round. A similar round dated 1992 exists. Another round from 1986 has the same clover obverse. None of the rounds has any distinctive features that might be indicative of their purpose. The initials and phrases are both cryptic and generic enough not to provide any leads. Although the mint and mintage for this round are unknown, the round is quite rare.

Obverse: The obverse depicts a three-leaf clover with the initials "JNT" on the petals. An upper inscription reads "NOTHING LEFT TO LUCK" with the date "1991" inscribed at the bottom. Three stars on either side separate the upper inscription from the date.

Reverse: The reverse features a pyramid with the initials "PJT". An upper inscription reads "PROVE THE POINT", while the weight and composition of "ONE TROY OZ .999 FINE SILVER" are inscribed below the pyramid. Three stars on either side separate the upper and lower inscriptions.
