1991 1 Oz Hutt River Desert Storm Apache Round BU

This round was "legal" tender in the autonomous zone of Hutt River Province. The coin was minted with a proof-like finish. Part of a set of at least 107 different coins produced in three denominations. The set is comprised of three different compositions, two different finishes, and three different obverses. There are 45 different $25 denomination coins minted with .999 Fine Silver.

Obverse: The obverse design depicts an Apache helicopter, a tank, a destroyer, a battleship, and a fighter jet. The upper inscription reads "DESERT STORM" with 4 stars on either side. The mottos "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "LIBERTY" are present at the lower left and lower right respectively. The date "1991" is inscribed at the bottom. 

Reverse: The central feature on the reverse is a crown representing the Hutt River Province.  The crown rests on a wall of intricate designs.  In between the crown and the wall is the name "NEW QUEENSLAND MINT". The denomination "25" is superimposed over the wall of designs. The upper inscription bears the name of the autonomous zone of "HUTT RIVER PROVINCE" and the denomination of "TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS" is located at the bottom.
