1973 1 Oz Freeman God and Country Round BU

Little is known about this round. It was minted in 1973 and contains the initials R.C.N. No other rounds have appeared with the same initials. The mint and mintage are unknown, and the round is uncommon.

Obverse: The obverse depicts the famous flag raising on the island of Iwo Jima. A banner above the image contains the phrase "ONE FREEMAN SILVER". The date and initials at the lower left read "© 1973 R.C.N." while the lower inscription states "GOD AND COUNTRY".

Reverse: The central feature on the reverse is a hand holding an open Bible. There is a feather on either side of the central image.  The word "TRUST" at the top is completed by the phrase "IN THE LORD" at the bottom. The weight and composition of ".999 FINE ONE TROY OUNCE" is located immediately above the lower inscription.
