1999 1 Oz DEMCO 35th Anniversary Round PF

DEMCO (Dethmers Manufacturing Company) began operations in 1964. They manufacture agricultural equipment, towing products, and trailer components. In 1999, they commissioned a silver round to celebrate their 35th Anniversary.  A second silver round was commissioned in 2004 for their 40th Anniversary. The mint and mintage for both rounds are unknown, but both are rare.

Obverse: The central image on the obverse is DEMCO company logo. The company motto is inscribed along the outer rim. The upper inscription "DOING OUR BEST" is completed by the phrase "TO PROVIDE YOU THE BEST" at the bottom.  Stars separate the upper inscription from the lower one. 

Reverse: The central feature on the reverse is the anniversary year "35".  Micro-inscribed above the "5" are the dates "1964-1999", while the phrase "THIRTY-FIVE YEARS" is found immediately below. The scripted name "DEMCO" rests above the numbers, and the date "1999" is located near the bottom. The phrase "DETHMERS MANUFACTURING / THIRTY-FIVE YEARS OF EXCELLENCE" encircles the central images.

Edge: The edge is reeded except for a flat surface at the bottom containing the composition of "FS 999".
