Description
This round was minted to commemorate the Prolab Classic Golf tournament held at the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Virginia. The date and circumstances of the tournament are unknown. Rare round with few in existence.
Obverse: The central image on the obverse is the logo for the tournament. It consists of the head of a golf club striking a golf ball on a tee. Underneath the image is the text that reads "PROLAB CLASSIC WILLIAMSBURG".
Reverse: The reverse features the logo for the Kingsmill Resort. The logo sports the stylized letters of "KM" inside a circle. Around the outer edge of the circle is the name "KINGSMILL RESORT".
Edge: The edge is reeded except for a flat surface at the bottom of the round that contains a 3-digit serial number.
