Description
Obverse: The images on the obverse represent the United States military. The designs include an F117 Nighthawk, an Abrams tank, an infantry soldier, and a Navy destroyer. An upper inscription of "OPERATION" is completed by the lower one that reads "DESERT STORM".
Reverse: The reverse features a shield with the official seals of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines. The phrase "DESERT SHIELD" is inscribed immediately above the shield. An upper inscription states "TO HONOR ALL WHO SERVED". The weight and composition of "ONE TROY OZ .999 FINE SILVER" are at the bottom.
