1 Oz NWTM Dept Homeland Security Enameled Round PF

This is a rare quality round produced by NWTM. It has it all, gold-plating, a proof-like finish, and enameling. It was produced to commemorate the formation of the Department of Homeland Security. It is estimated that fewer than 500 of these rounds were minted.

Obverse: The central feature of the obverse depicts an airplane with the Pentagon and the Twin Towers in the background. The airplane and the Twin Towers are gold-plated. The American flag with enameling serves as the backdrop for the central image. An inscription along the outer circle reads "DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY".

Reverse: The reverse depicts an airplane with a pair of firearms, all of which are gold-plated. The upper inscription reads "FEDERAL FLIGHT DECK OFFICERS" while the lower inscription states "NO WARNING SHOTS".

Edge: The edge is reeded with a smooth space at the top containing the weight, purity, and content of "ONE OZ. 999 FINE SILVER".
