NWTM produced a series of replica half-dollar rounds. While the mintage is unknown the serial number on the edge is only three digits. The date these were minted is unknown but they were minted with .999 Fine Silver.
Obverse: The obverse depicts a right-facing portrait of Christopher Columbus. Around the rim is an inscription bearing the purity, and content. It reads "COMMEMORATIVE .999 FINE SILVER". The weight of "1 TROY OUNCE" is located at the bottom.
Reverse: The reverse depicts a port view of the Santa María above two hemispheres flanked by the date 1492. "WORLD'S COLUMBIAN EXPOSITION CHICAGO" encircles the rim with the date "1892" at the bottom.
Edge: The edge is reeded except for a flat surface at the bottom which contains a 3-digit serial number.
