1 Oz Merle Haggard Country Superstar Round PF

This round is part of a set of 4 rounds issued by International Legacies out of Arcadia, FL. Each of the rounds depicts a country singer superstar. The mint and mintage are unknown but the rounds were issued with limited mintages.

Obverse: The central image on the obverse is a right-facing picture of Merle Haggard, the country singer. His name is inscribed at the top along with a star on either side. Along the outer edge above the seal is the phrase "DEPARTMENT OF THE ARMY".  Inscribed below the seal is "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA". 

Reverse: The reverse depicts the state of California, his birthplace. The phrase "OFFICIAL COUNTRY SUPERSTAR" is inscribed at the top. His scripted signature can be found towards the bottom. The content, purity, and weight of "ONE OUNCE .999 PURE SILVER" is inscribed at the bottom.
