Obverse: The obverse design features a Liberty in profile. A cap, flora, and a crown incused with the word “LIBERTY” adorn her head. Around the outer rim is the motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM" at the top and the date "2012" at the bottom. The motto and the date are separated by 13 stars, seven to the right and six to the left.

Reverse: The reverse design depicts the familiar image of the bald eagle facing left with arrows in one talon and an olive branch in the other. It sits atop a scroll that contains the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST". The purity, weight, and content of "ONE TROY OUNCE .999 SILVER" is inscribed at the top and the name of the mint "SILVERTOWNE" is located at the bottom.
