1990 1 Oz Woodmen of the World Omaha Round PF

This round is part of a larger set of rounds issued by the Woodmen of the World Insurance Company. Each of the rounds celebrates a different state or depicts the founders of the company. Currently, it is unknown how many different rounds are in the set although the states of Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Texas have been identified. The mint and mintage are unknown but the rounds appear to have been issued with very limited mintages.

Obverse: The obverse depicts Joseph Root, the founder of the company, and John Bookout, the President of the company in 1990.  At the top is the text "WOODMEN OF THE WORLD - OMAHA WOODMEN".  The bottom contains the dates "1890 ~ 1990". The letter "L" can be found to the right of the image of John Bookout.

Reverse: The reverse depicts the headquarters for the company which is located in Omaha, Nebraska. The seal for the Woodmen of the World is shown to the left of the building and the company logo to the right. Surrounding the central image are the words "FOUNDED JUNE 6, 1890 OMAHA, NEBRASKA" at the top and the phrase "A CENTURY OF SERVICE" at the bottom.
