1988 1 Oz AMC Uncle Sam Round PF

Hard to find. AMC made several reproductions of bullion series including the Maple Leaf, the Chinese Panda, and the Australian Koala.

Obverse: The obverse depicts an image of Uncle Sam pointing straight ahead.  The phrase "I WANT YOU!" appears at the top and is completed by the statement "TO BE PROUD OF AMERICA" at the bottom. The date "1988" can be to the right and the mintmark "AMC" is located immediately below the date.

Reverse: The reverse portrays the Great Seal of the United States, a heraldic eagle behind a shield. The eagle grasps an olive branch in its right talon and arrows in its left. Above the eagle are thirteen five-pointed stars inside a cloud which represent the thirteen colonies. The phrase "GREAT SEAL OF THE UNITED STATES" is inscribed at the top. The weight and fineness of "ONE TROY OZ .999 FINE SILVER" are found at the lower left. At the lower right is the inscription "MADE IN USA BY AMC".
