1987 1 Oz AMC Silver Maple Leaf Eagle Round PF

Hard to find. AMC made several reproductions of bullion series, including the Maple Leaf, the Chinese Panda, and the Australian Koala. Some of the reproductions paired different obverses and reverses. This round pairs the maple leaf with an eagle reverse.

Obverse: The obverse bears the simple image of a maple leaf. The upper inscription reads "SILVER MAPLE LEAF" while the date of "1987" can be found at the bottom. The mintmark "AMC" is located to the lower right.

Reverse: The reverse portrays an eagle reminiscent of the Great Seal of the United States. The eagle grasps an olive branch in its right talon, arrows in its left talon, and holds a banner in its beak. The inscription "MADE IN U.S.A" arches across the top. The purity of ".999" is found immediately below the image. A lower inscription specifying the weight and fineness reads "1 TROY OUNCE • FINE SILVER".
