1988 1 Oz AMC Chinese Lunar Dragon Round PF

Rare Lunar Year of the Dragon AMC round. Although the reverse is dated 1987, the obverse is dated 1988 which was the lunar year of the dragon.

Obverse: The obverse depicts a fierce dragon. The phrase "YEAR OF THE DRAGON" is inscribed on the left. The date of "1988" along with the Chinese symbol for the Year of the Dragon, is located along the right edge. 

Reverse: The central image on the reverse is a map of the country of China. The name "CHINA" is written across the top with the date "1987" immediately below. The lower inscription denotes the weight and fineness of "ONE OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER".  The mintmark "AMC" is located to the upper right.
