1986 1 Oz Festival of Racing Arlington Park Round PF

In 1985, a fire destroyed the historic Arlington Park raceway clubhouse. One year later after rebuilding the clubhouse, the raceway held the annual 13-day Budweiser-Arlington Million Festival of Racing. This round was made available to those in attendance. Hard to find!

Obverse: The obverse features the logo for the Budweiser-Arlington Million. It depicts a racehorse and jockey with a globe in the background. Text beneath the logo states "ARLINGTON PARK / 6TH RUNNING / AUGUST 31, 1986". 

Reverse: The central feature on the reverse is a stylized racehorse. The inscription beneath the image reads "ARLINGTON INTERNATIONAL / FESTIVAL OF RACING / ARLINGTON PARK".  The weight, content, and purity of "ONE TROY OZ. .999 FINE SILVER" is micro inscribed at the bottom.
