1973 1 Oz One Silver Liberty Round BU

This is an uncommon vintage round.

Obverse: The central feature of the obverse is a close-up of the head of the Statue of Liberty. On six of the rays, the word "LIBERTY" is inscribed in different languages. The date is inscribed beneath the image to the right. The outer circle contains the upper inscription of "ONE SILVER LIBERTY" and the lower inscription bears the weight of "ONE TROY OUNCE".

Reverse: The central feature on the reverse is the periodic table nomenclature "AG" inscribed within a circle. Immediately outside the central circle is the inscription of "ONE SILVER" at the top and "LIBERTY" at the bottom. The outer circle contains the weight inscription of "ONE TROY OUNCE 31.1 GRAMS". This is matched by the purity and weight inscription of ".999 FINE SILVER".
