1 Oz AMC Bowie Knife Enameled Round BU

AMC produced many different rounds in the 1980s. On some rounds, they added enameling. The enameled rounds are very rare! 

Obverse: The obverse depicts a Bowie Knife with text that reads "ORIGINAL BOWIE KNIFE". The lettering and the knife are gold colored and the background is deep green. Enameling covers the entire obverse.

Reverse: The reverse design features the heraldic eagle with a shield, an olive branch in the right talon, and arrows in the left all echoing the Great Seal of the United States. The eagle holds a banner in its beak which is inscribed "E PLURIBUS UNUM". Above the eagle are thirteen five-pointed stars arranged in a circle representing the Thirteen Colonies. Inside the circle is the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST". The upper inscription reads "GREAT SEAL OF THE UNITED STATES". The purity, weight, and denomination of "1 TROY OZ .999 FINE SILVER" is located below the eagle. The phrase "MADE IN USA BY AMC" is located at the lower right. The reverse is not enameled.
