2001 1 Oz 9/11 Flight 93 Round PF

This round is quite rare and has a reported mintage of just 1,000.

Obverse: The central image on the obverse bears the image of archangel Michael as the background. In the foreground, an airplane flies to the right. The texts "FLIGHT 93" and " LET'S ROLL" are inscribed above and below the airplane. Commemorative text around the outer edge reads "IN MEMORY OF THE HEROES OF SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 • SHANKSVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA".

Reverse: The central feature on the reverse is an American flag in the shape of a map of the United States. Above the map is an inscription from a speech by George Bush which states "WE WILL NOT TIRE, / WE WILL NOT FALTER, / AND WE WILL NOT FAIL." The outer edge is decorated with 40 stars representing each of the passengers of Flight 93.
