Obverse: The obverse design features an eagle sitting on a banner. Inscribed in the banner is the weight of "ONE TROY OUNCE". The upper inscription bears the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" while the lower one contains purity and content and reads ".999 FINE SILVER".

Reverse: The central design on the reverse is the logo of the Associates, a division of the Gulf and Western Company. The text inscribed beneath the logo identifies the company. The top inscription reads "OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT" while the lower one bears the date of 1987.
