1 Oz American Eagle Trade Round BU

Obverse: The central image is a stylized eagle reminiscent of other designs from the 1970s and 1980s. The phrase "AMERICAN EAGLE" is inscribed above the eagle while 13 stars take up the remaining space along the outer edge beneath the central motif.  

Reverse: The central feature on the reverse is the trade scales, a common motif found on many trade unit silver rounds. The content, purity, and weight of "ONE TROY OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER" is inscribed above the scales.  Directly below the scales are 13 stars.  Hashmarks decorate the outer rim.
