2017 1 Oz SilverTowne Rome Coin Club Round PF

This round was issued to commemorate the 55th Anniversary of the foundation of the Rome Coin Club.  Although undated, the club was founded in 1962. The round was issued with a proof-like finish. SilverTowne produced the round.

Obverse: The obverse features the Rome Clock Tower, a prominent landmark in the city of Rome, Georgia. The motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" is inscribed to the left of the central image while the weight, purity, and content of "1 TROY .999 AG" is located to the right. Around the outer circle are the inscriptions of "ROME COIN CLUB", "ROME GA", and "FOUNDED 1962" all separated by a single bullet point.

The central feature on the reverse is the text "55 YEARS".  An inscription bearing the weight, purity, and content of "1 OZ .999 AG" is located underneath. Around the outer circle are the inscriptions of "ROME, GEORGIA" at the top and "FOUNDED 1962" at the bottom.
