The Auto Club obverse is rarely encountered. It is most often found with an Associates reverse but has also been seen with a Ford Finance reverse, known to have been minted by SilverTowne. When found, the First Family Financial obverse is most often paired with an MVP reverse issued as an employee appreciation round in 1997. An Associates/MVP employee appreciation round was also minted in 1997. Although this First Family/Auto Club pairing is undated, it was issued in 1997 along with the employee appreciation rounds. The pairing with the Ford Consumer Finance reverse establishes a link to SilverTowne. The mintage is unknown, but the round is rarely encountered.
Obverse: The obverse depicts the United States Auto Club logo used from 1980 through 2001. The logo consists of a shield with a bar at the top inscribed with "UNITED STATES" and vertical stripes below containing the words "AUTO CLUB". Two checkered flags flutter in the background. Inscribed at the bottom are the words "MOTORING DIVISION INC."
Reverse: The reverse features the logo of First Family Financial Services. The weight and composition of "1 TROY OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER" are inscribed at the bottom.
