1982 1 Oz World Wide Mint Viva Mexico Winged Victory Round BU

Rare vintage round!

Obverse: The central image on the obverse features Winged Victory holding a wreath of laurel. The dates "1821" and "1921" are located on either side of the central figure. Those same dates are expressed in Roman numerals on the lower left and lower right, respectively. This image was on the 2 Peso and 50 Peso Mexican coins from 1921.

Reverse: The central feature of the reverse is the phrase "VIVA MEXICO" in scripted letters. The year "1982" is inscribed below that. An outer band encircles the central text and specifies the weight of "UNA ONZA TROY" at the top and the composition of ",999 PLATA PURA" at the bottom. Delicate scrollwork separates the two inscriptions. The mint mark "WWM" is located beneath the date.
