1997 1 Oz Enviromint Denver Broncos Western Division Champions Round PF

Enviromint minted Divisional, League/Conference, and World Championship rounds for the 1990s for Baseball, Basketball, Football, and Hockey. Standard mintages for those issues are as follows: Divisional Champions (5,000), League/Conference Champions (10,000), and World Champions (25,000). This is the Denver Broncos Divisional Championship round for the 1996 season. 

Obverse: The obverse features the team helmet of the Denver Broncos. The phrase "WESTERN DIVISION CHAMPIONS" arches across the top of the round.  The weight and composition are located underneath the upper inscription and specify "1 TROY OZ. .999 FINE SILVER". The date "1996" and a box containing a serial number appear at the bottom with the phrase "LIMITED EDITION" underneath. A micro-inscription at the bottom left reads "TM/©1997 NFLP",

Reverse: The reverse depicts the official logo for Super Bowl XXXI held in New Orleans, Louisiana. The date of the event "SUNDAY, JANUARY 26, 1997" is inscribed above the logo, while the location, "NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA / SUPERDOME", is engraved below it. The phrase "THE ROAD TO NEW ORLEANS" arches across the top. A micro-inscription at the bottom identifies the mint and copyright and reads "1997 ENVIROMINT  TM/©1997 NFLP".
