1997 1 Oz Enviromint Denver Broncos Official Game Coin Round PF

For the 1997 season, Enviromint minted "Official Fame Coin" rounds for each NFL team. The mintage numbers for the pure silver rounds were 7,500 per team. A small number of gilded rounds were also minted. The series shared a common reverse. The only distinction on the obverse was the team helmet and name.

Obverse: The obverse features the team helmet of the Denver Broncos. A frosted circle encompasses the helmet and bears the inscription "DENVER" at the top and "BRONCOS" at the bottom. The phrase "THE LXXVIII NFL SEASON" arches across the top of the round.  A box containing a serial number appears at the bottom with the phrase "LIMITED EDITION" underneath.

Reverse: The reverse depicts the NFL shield surrounded by the words "OFFICIALLY LICENSED PRODUCT". The phrase "OFFICIAL GAME COIN" arches across the top with the date "1997" located at the bottom. A micro-inscription at the bottom left specifies the weight and copyright inscription of "ONE TROY OUNCE / TM© 1997 NFLP", while one on the right denotes the composition and description of ".999 FINE SILVER / 1997 ENVIRONMINT".
