1994 1 Oz Highland Mint Marshall Faulk Round PF

Nice collectible round. Part of a series issued by Highland Mint beginning in 1994. Each of the 18 rounds in the series had a mintage of 7,500. Other players in the series include Dan Marino, Barry Sanders, Steve Young, Drew Bledsoe, Rick Mirer, John Elway, Jerry Rice, and Heath Shuler. The 1994 series has career stats through 1993.  Highland Mint added other players in later years. IN 1995, Highland Mint sold a boxed set of the entire series.

Obverse: The obverse design depicts a front-facing image of Marshall Faulk. His name and number appear at the left and a copy of his signature is found at the bottom. 

Reverse: The central design on the reverse is an Indianapolis Colts football helmet. Below the helmet is the player's name and position "MARSHALL FAULK - RB".  His career stats and stats for the 1993 NFL football season are located below the name. Underneath the stats is a box with a 4-digit serial number with the phrase "LIMITED EDITION" inscribed immediately above it. Around the outer edge is an inscription that reads "OFFICIALLY LICENSED NFL PROPERTIES AND NFL PLAYERS ASSOCIATION". The lower inscription specifies the weight, purity, and content and reads "ONE TROY OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER".
