The 1992 Richard Petty Fan Appreciation Tour was a 29-race farewell tour for NASCAR legend "The King" Richard Petty. Announced in October 1991, this iconic retirement season marked the end of his 34-year career and remains one of the most commercially successful and celebrated retirements in motorsport history. Enviromint joined the celebration by minting this round.
Obverse: The obverse features Richard Petty wearing his signature cowboy hat. His name and car number "NO. 43" are engraved on the left.
Reverse: The reverse depicts the logo created for the Richard Petty fan appreciation tour. It features his #43 car, a left-facing image, and the phrase "1992 FAN APPRECIATION TOUR". A scripted signature appears under the logo, followed by a banner containing a serial number. The phrase "LIMITED EDITION" is placed below the banner. A micro-inscription at the bottom left specifies the weight of "ONE TROY OUNCE", while one on the right denotes the composition of ".999 FINE SILVER".
