Draper Mint produced the Comstock Silver Company round in the early 1970s. The reverse is the star reverse found on some Swiss of America rounds. It is estimated that fewer than 5,000 of these rounds were minted, and they are difficult to locate.
Obverse: The obverse depicts the logo of Comstock Silver Company, the letters "CSC" encircled by an oval. The word "COMSTOCK" is inscribed at the top and is completed by the lower "SILVER COMPANY" inscription.
Reverse: The reverse is simple, containing a star and some text. The weight of "ONE OUNCE" stretches across the middle of the reverse with a five-pointed star depicted above it. The purity of ".999+" is located below the weight with the composition "FINE SILVER" inscribed below that.
