Description

Although the round bears no mint mark, the reverse has been used on rounds linked to the California Crown Mint. The overlaid "ONE" reverse has been paired with Elvis Presley and Alfred Neuman obverses. Those obverses are also paired with a version of the Great Seal reverse known to have been minted by California Crown Mint. Rounds with this obverse were probably minted in the 1990s. The Korean Conflict round appears to be part of a set commemorating global conflicts. The other known round in the set is the Berlin Wall Falls round. The mintage is unknown, but the round is quite rare.

Obverse: The obverse features soldiers gathered around a sign that reads "YOU ARE CROSSING THE 38TH PARALLEL COURTESY OF 3RD R.O.K. DIV". Mountains and trees can be seen in the background. Above the image is an inscription that reads "THE KOREAN CONFLICT", and below it is the date "1950".

Reverse: The central feature on the reverse is the number "1" with the word "ONE" overlaid on it. The weight of "ONE TROY OUNCE" is inscribed at the top, while the purity and content of  "999 FINE SILVER" is located at the bottom.
