List of products by brand Golden State Mint

Golden State Mint is a full-service mint producing a wide range of bullion bars and rounds in gold, silver, and copper. The Golden State Mint is famed for making custom bullion rounds for its customers, and for manufacturing a large selection of great silver, copper, and gold rounds to in-house designs. Golden State Mint copper rounds have become extremely popular among collectors and buyers investing in copper bullion.

It has conducted minting and refining operations for over four decades. They use both mined and recycled precious metals to manufacture all of their bullion products. Golden State does not sell products that have circulated through the secondary bullion markets -- all of their products are newly minted. They specialize in silver and copper rounds in many sizes, including 1 Oz, 5 Oz, and even fractional rounds (1/2 Oz, 1/4 Oz, 1/10 Oz). GSM has been in the precious metals business for over 40 years and has facilities in Southern California and Central Florida. All of the silver products produced by Golden State Mint are minted with .999 Fine Silver.

The mint marks on rounds from the early 1980s were either marked with the name Golden State Mint or its initials G.S.M. Early GSM rounds have also been found with a trade-unit reverse bearing the name "California Mint". At present, no information exists indicating that this was a different mint. "California Mint" was probably an early trade name for GSM. Some of the rounds found with the California Mint trade unit reverse are the Plucked Taxpayer round, the 1825 Locomotion round, the Jackalope round, and the Prospector round. Several of these have also been found paired with GSM reverses or obverses. Most of the current rounds produced have the mint's name inscribed, but some of the bullion rounds are unmarked.

Golden State Mint produces quite a few bullion series rounds on its own, such as the Buffalo rounds and Aztec Calendar rounds. It is also involved in producing rounds from other designers, such as the Silver Shield series or the series from Crescent City Silver. Throughout the years, they have produced many different styles of rounds and bars.
