2020 1 Oz Sunshine Mint Darling Ingredients Safety Round PF

Darling Ingredients repurposes and recycles materials from the animal agriculture and food industries, transforming them into other essential ingredients used for animal feed, crop fertilizers, and airplane fuel. From 2020 to 2022, they commissioned multiple advertising rounds featuring their logo on the reverse. Some of the rounds feature cities and dates that suggest they were made for trade shows. Others feature prominent individuals or celebrations within the organization.  The mintages are unknown, but all rounds are uncommon to rare. In addition to the .999 FS round, some base metal rounds were also made. Sunshine Mint minted all the rounds. 

Obverse: The obverse depicts a worker kneeling as if working his way through a small space. The upper inscription along the outer rim reads "CONFINED SPACE ENTRY SHOULD NOT BE A ONE WAY TRIP." The lower inscription states, "ALWAYS FOLLOW SAFETY RULES". The two inscriptions are separated by triangles, reminiscent of safety hazard signs. The company's name, "DARLING INGREDIENTS" is micro-inscribed to the right. 

Reverse: The central feature of the reverse is the logo for Darling Ingredients. The background, common to many of the rounds, is an interlocking snowflake design. The date "2020" is inscribed at the bottom. 

Edge: The edge is reeded, except for a flat surface at the bottom, which contains the designation "999 F.S.".
