1 Oz Sunshine Mint Oklahoma Federated Peace Round Bu

Oklahoma Federated Gold and Numismatics operated from 1982 through 1986. During this period, they operated both as a retail store and an auction company. The company commissioned two advertising rounds, one a Peace dollar replica and the other a Morgan dollar replica. The Peace round is virtually identical to a 1986 Peace replica round minted by the Sunshine Mint. Additionally, the Morgan Federated replica is remarkably similar to a Sunshine Mint Morgan replica with a 1985 date. Despite being undated and lacking mint marks, both Oklahoma Federated advertising rounds were likely minted by the Sunshine Mint in 1985 and 1986. The mintage is unknown, but both rounds are uncommon.

Obverse: The obverse is a replica of the Peace dollar, depicting the left-facing Lady Liberty and the word "LIBERTY". The space underneath the effigy is blank. 

Reverse: The central feature of the reverse is the replica of the Peace dollar depicting an American bald eagle perched on a mountain rock, holding an olive branch, with the sun rising behind it. The name "OKLAHOMA FEDERATED GOLD AND NUMISMATICS INC." arches across the top. The weight of "ONE TROY OUNCE" is split by the image and located towards the bottom. The rock contains the composition of "999 FINE SILVER".
