2014 1 Oz North American Mint Silverbug Ariana Round PF

The popular Reddit Silverbug community commissioned this round in commemoration of the 5000th member. It was minted by the North American Mint with a proof finish. Limited to 10,000 minted sets.

Obverse: The obverse depicts the image of Ariana, the original silver fairy. She is kneeling to the left looking at two flasks. The background consists of the sun with rays that emanate from the center. The phrase "IN SILVER WE TRUST" is inscribed to the right. The date of "2014" can be found at the bottom. 

Reverse: The central feature on the reverse is a scarab beetle design, which is the common reverse on all Silverbug fairy rounds. The letters "AG" are inscribed in place of the head. Immediately below the central image, the purity and content of ".999 FINE SILVER" can be found. This is flanked by two Chinese characters. The weight of  “1 TROY OUNCE" is inscribed at the top and the phrase "FOR THE SILVERBUG COMMUNITY" is located at the bottom. 

Edge: The edge is reeded except for a smooth section at the bottom of the round which contains a four-digit serial number.
