20 Gram International Mint Nation of Rifleman Flintlock Pistol Round PF

From a series of 30 medals commissioned by the NRA between 1971 and 1975.

Obverse: The design on the obverse depicts the pistol.  The scene below shows two colonial soldiers and a general riding a horse. Trees rise in the background. Inscribed at the top is the word "FLINTLOCK PISTOL". 

Reverse: The central feature of the reverse is text that describes the invention and use of the weapon. Above the text is the Liberty Bell while an eagle in flight is depicted below. 

Edge: The edge is smooth.  The purity and content of ".999 FINE SILVER" are inscribed at the top, with a 5-digit serial number located at the bottom.
