1988 1 Oz Rarities Mint Mickey Mouse 60th Anniversary Round PF

Part of a set of 7 issued by the Rarities Mint to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Mickey Mouse. Each of the rounds had a mintage of 30,000.

Obverse: The obverse features Mickey Mouse in a tuxedo and tennis shoes. The date "1988" is inscribed on the left with the mint mark "RM" immediately below. 

Reverse: The reverse contains the official seal for Mickey's 60th anniversary.  Mickey is standing on top of a film reel looking quite pleased.  Three concentric circles, with the second one being frosted create the background. The name "MICKEY" is inscribed in a box behind Mickey Mouse.  The second circle contains the phrase “SIXTY YEARS WITH YOU”.  The outer circle bears an upper weight inscription of "1 TROY OUNCE" with a lower inscription specifying the composition of ".999 FINE SILVER". The date "1928" is located at the lower left while "1988" can be found at the lower right. 

Edge: The edge is reeded except for a smooth surface at the bottom that contains a 5-digit serial number.
